Dorchester, Ontario — Joe Preston, MP for Elgin-Middlesex-London, today announced that Enerworks Inc. will receive $2,465,000 under the Community Adjustment Fund Intake 2.
 
“Residents in our community will benefit from projects like this one, which encourage economic revitalization,” said MP Joe Preston.  “Our investment in the manufacturing sector in Thames Centre will help this region become recognized as a key player in a global economy.”
 
EnerWorks is a solar thermal (solar hot water, solar space heating and solar cooling) company.  The project will reduce costs and increase production capacity by, improvements to existing production facilities, new facilities, engineering solutions and operational improvements.

This project will be funded through the Community Adjustment Fund, a two-year, $1-billion national program aimed at addressing the short-term economic needs of communities hit hardest by the global economic recession. The approved project must meet the terms and conditions set out in the contribution agreement.
