Constituency Office

Karen Vecchio - Executive Assistant 

Karen is the assistant to Joe Preston and assists with scheduling, correspondence, advertising, community liaison and Ministerial visits.  She deals with constituency matters focusing on agriculture, the federal budget, large issue management, and CRA for Businesses.

Francine Melmer - Constituency Assistant

Francine handles all matters dealing with seniors’ issues including Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, and Veteran’s Affairs.  She assists constituents with benefits available through Service Canada including survivor’s benefits, children’s benefits and disability benefits.

Darlene Unwin - Constituency Assistant

Darlene assists and acts as a liaison with the Employment Insurance Department and deals with Citizenship and Immigration issues including Canadian Citizenship and Permanent Residence.  She also assists with pardons and fast cards.

Cathy Hayward- Constituency Assistant

Cathy assists and acts as a liaison with Canada Revenue Agency including Child Tax Benefit, Notice of Assessments and personal GST matters.  She reviews and assists constituents with Passport Canada inquiries.  She also manages the Constituency Office~ Artist of the Month Wall.
