Meet Team Joe

Karen Vecchio - Executive Assistant

Karen is the assistant to Joe Preston and constituency office manager. She is responsible for scheduling, advertising, media, and community liaison. She deals with constituency matters focusing on the budget, agriculture and handles inquiries dealing with Citizenship and Immigration. Karen works with MyFM to bring you “Joe and Friends” Sunday mornings at 7:30am.

Joanna Komarnicki- Executive Legislative Assistant

Joanna is the legislative assistant to Joe Preston in Ottawa. She assists Joe with Parliamentary committee work along with daily parliamentary business. Joanna organizes Joe’s schedule during his time in Ottawa and handles correspondence received in Ottawa.

Cathy Hayward- Constituency Assistant

Cathy handles government issues under Canada Revenue Agency including Child Tax Benefit, Notice of Assessments, adjustments and personal income tax matters. She handles inquiries into the office concerning employment insurance.

Marci Hay- Constituency Assistant

Marci handles government issues under Service Canada including Canada Pension Plan and Old Age. She works as a liaison with Veterans Affairs Canada. She handles correspondence received in the constituency office.
