The next round of Building Canada funding is on the slate for discussion at Monday's meeting of St. Thomas council.
A letter from Joe Preston, Conservative MP for Elgin-Middlesex-London, included in Monday's agenda package, says the next "intake" of applications for communities under 100,000 people is due May 1.
The manager of the Horton Farmers Market is set to make a presentation to council, updating it on the upcoming 2009 season.
Council is also expected to discuss hiring a design consultant for the Talbot Street streetscape improvement project at a cost of just over $76,000.
Council meets in regular chambers at 7 p.m. following a closed-door session at 6 p.m.
