On Friday, August 21, 2009, Joe met with Members of Elgin County including Warden Graham Warwick, Malahide Mayor John Wilson and Central Elgin Deputy Mayor Jim Marks along with Peter Dutchak from Engineering Services to discuss erosion on Dexter Line.

The group met on site along the shores of Lake Erie to discuss the current situation of the cliffs, effects on the villages laying along the lakeshore and possible future scenarios.  Discussions continued later in Port Stanley with Steve Peters, MPP joining the group.
