Springfield, Ontario -  Joe Preston, Member of Parliament for Elgin-Middlesex-London, had a spirited welcome as he arrived at the Springfield Public Library on Thursday.  Staff members, one dressed as an Elgin County Library Card, greeted Joe on his arrival with signs, posters and a ‘Joe Preston Quiz’.

Members of the community visited Joe during the 3 hour visit to discuss a variety of issues including the Talbotville Ford Plant, the environment and how a bill passes through the House of Commons.

Prior to Joe’s departure, he was issued a new Elgin County Library Card.
