Joe Preston is coming to the local airwaves. Partnering with 94.1 myFM, “Joe and Friends” premieres, Sunday February 5, 2012 at 7:30am.

The 30-Minute weekly program will include updates from Parliament; The Mailbag; and Feature of the Week which will include discussions with friends from Parliament, regional leaders, and local politicians.

“I’ll be up early, ready to meet with friends and discuss the local flavour to national issues,” said Joe Preston, MP Elgin Middlesex London. “Grab a cup of coffee, and join in.”

“This new weekly program confirms our long-term strategic approach to local radio – taking great care in reflecting local news coverage on our airwaves. The people who live in Elgin County have an active interest in what happens in their own backyard, as well as maintaining pertinent views on the wider world.  We’re giving the audience the chance to get involved as Joe expands on the issues of the day, giving more details and answer any questions his constituents may have”, said Rob Mise, General Manager, 94.1 myFM St. Thomas.
