On Thursday, January 6, 2011, the Township of Southwold celebrated the official re-opening. Township of Southwold CAO Donna Ethier, left, Elgin-Middlesex-London MPP Steve Peters, MP Joe Preston, Green Lane Community Trust representative (and City of Toronto Director of Transfer and Disposal Operations) George South and Township of Southwold Mayor Jim McIntyre participated in the ribbon cutting. Funding was provided under the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund .
